As per the title, does anyone know if a car that's liveried in works colours is allowed to enter a road rally? Just wondering with regards to sponsorship etc. Thanks for any replies.

Thanks for the reply. I thought as much. I competed years ago and seem to remember something similar back then. Oh well.

Thanks. To put your mind at rest, that's not me stood beside the car but 2 times WRC champion Miki Biasion.

If the car left the factory covered in stickers etc. as part of a limited edition thing - then maybe you could argue that the car is simply standard showroom spec?
I've seen a few 205's and Nova' with 'dealersport' stickers on them and they've managed to run on road rallies because they left the showroom like that.
I don't think it's going to work in the Lancia's case though, sorry!

regs for the shar trophy states that ALL signwriting must be removed from the cars, so thats pretty much, noting at all allowed on the car, but every organising team has different rules me thinks

i thought that 4wd turbos weren't allowed in road rallies? that alone would mean such a gorgeous car would not be allowed?

Well, I've now got my Grp A exhaust system back on and it will definitely fail on any noise test. Oh well, back to taking the photos
