The other weekend I was up at Croft shooting the superbikes and as usual the holes in the fence were all occupied... however I saw a couple of togs stood on these: work platform
They are perfect for getting your camera over the fence if you aren't signed on

Back in the day when I owned a camera. I came across so many occations where I could have done with being one of two foot highter for the perfect angle.
I threatend my self a couple of times that I would take a small step ladder with me to the next rally, just incase.

I had a snapper once... but that crocodile wasn't called humble!
You could always try climbing trees - a bit drastic some might say, but it, allegedly, works!
